OPEN NIGHTS festival (vol.5)
The 5th OPEN NIGHTS arts Festival will take place in spring 2020, in Larissa/ Greece.
The inter-disciplinary festival is organized by the OFF ART arts initiative and is supported by different stakeholders from the municipality of Larissa and the state of Greece.
It is based on a visual art group exhibition while during the exhibition a number of actions take place between the art work or in nearby venues. Visual and performing art connected with the common theme collaborate and give different perspectives of it. The result is a festival of the arts, full of dance, theatre and literature performances, lectures, projections and workshops.
The 5th OPEN NIGHTS theme will be “TIME ”.
The concept of time, one of the most important themes that occupied the human intellect through time, has been influenced not only from theory and experimental scientific thought, but also from many different philosophical and humanistic doctrines.
The call is for visual artists and performers from any direction,that want to present their idea on the above theme.  All forms of artistic expression will be considered.

Κάλεσμα για συμμετοχή στο 5ο Open Nights
Αφιερωμένο στην έννοια: χρόνος


Η ομάδα χορού Off Art και η Αντιδημαρχία Πολιτισμού και Επιστημών Δήμου Λαρισαίων σε συνεργασία με την  Εφορεία Αρχαιοτήτων Λάρισας και άλλους φορείς,  καλούν και… προκαλούν επαγγελματίες εικαστικούς, performers, σκηνοθέτες, χορογράφους, μουσικούς κτλ. και ομάδες ανάλογων κατευθύνσεων, για να συμμετάσχουν στο 5ο Φεστιβάλ Open Nights.
Τα Open Nights αποτελούν ένα  δια-καλλιτεχνικό φεστιβάλ.
Η 5η διοργάνωση θα έχει ως θέμα τον «Χρόνο» και θα παρουσιαστεί την  Άνοιξη του 2020 στην πόλη της Λάρισας. Μέρος του θα ταξιδέψει και σε άλλα μέρη της Ελλάδας.
Η έννοια του «Χρόνου» είναι ένα από τα σπουδαιότερα θέματα της ανθρώπινης σκέψης που έχει επηρεαστεί τόσο από την θεωρητική και πειραματική επιστημονική σκέψη, όσο και από διάφορα φιλοσοφικά και ανθρωποκεντρικά δόγματα.
Όπως και τις προηγούμενες χρονιές, το Φεστιβάλ Open Nights, θα έχει ως βάση μια ομαδική εικαστική έκθεση και κατά τη διάρκειά της, θα παρουσιαστούν performances μουσικής, θεάτρου και χορού, θα γίνουν εργαστήρια, διαλέξεις, προβολές ενώ θα δημιουργηθούν συνεργασίες και παράλληλες δράσεις,  βασισμένες όλες στο κοινό θέμα.
Οι καλλιτέχνες ή οι ομάδες που ενδιαφέρονται να πάρουν μέρος, παρακαλούνται  να στείλουν βιογραφικό,  παρουσίαση του έργου τους έως σήμερα και τη σχετική με το θέμα πρότασή τους, υποστηρίζοντάς την απαραίτητα, από ένα κείμενο (έως 250 λέξεις).
